Fishing Rates

Not all charter operations in our area operate on the high level of customer service and ethics that we do. This is important to know before you book a charter:

Capt. Woody

As a FULL-TIME Professional Charter Boat Captain (one of the few in the area); I have fished for over 50 years and spent an average of 200 days a year on the water. As a professional, I’ve grounded my business on the highest level of “Customer Service, referrals and return business. So, if you’re looking for WORLD CLASS and MEMORABLE fishing adventures, so give me a call and let’s get out on the water and HOOK SOME FLORIDA MEMORIES; you will not be disappointed in our determination to make each trip an enjoyable and entertaining experience.

  • Unlike so many part-time captains guiding in the area with primary employment and benefits in another field. I do not have the distractions of another job and make my living and support my family solely from charter fishing. Time on the water is what allows a professional to know exactly where the fish are biting.
  • As the owner and operator of my guide service for over (23) years, you will speak directly with me when booking your charter. We supply everything for a successful charter. License, rods, reels, tackle, bait, all necessary safety equipment, and even an ice chest with ice for your drinks and snacks.
  • I’m always hearing stories about guides getting mad at the first lost fish or tangled line. Not on my charters, we are designed to be fun easy-going and if you need help you’ll get it. I use a straight-forward approach, all you have to do is listen and learn. Soon you will experience the thrill of a lifetime… catching fish.
  • When you charter with me and the weather prevents us from safely enjoying the day, your deposit is 100% refundable. I want you to enjoy our beautiful weather as well as the fishing our area offers. I would rather cancel the charter than take you for an expensive boat ride.
  • When introducing future anglers to the best sport in the world, I offer charters specifically tailored to children and take pride in keeping children engaged throughout the trip. I would be honored to put your child on the fish of a lifetime. Let’s let them hook a wonderful memory.

In building my fishing guide business over the past 25 years I’ve discovered that customers remember good customer service much longer than they remember the price. So, if you’re shopping price; you might save $50 to $100 bucks by hiring a less experienced part-time guide. However, you might also sacrifice customer service, safety, and professionalism, not to mention fishing knowledge, comfort, equipment and overall attention to detail. My charter rates are competitive with other full-time professionals in the area.

Don’t leave your fishing adventure to chance, only to have it turn into a bad day on the water. Sadly, many of our competitors don’t always practice customer service putting the clients first, which leads to those customers choosing me instead of returning to other local services. I’m very enthusiastic about my guide service and strive to exceed all expectations from initial contact to the end of your charter and my personal service doesn’t stop there.

Some Important Charter Information

  • An important part of each charter ensures that we provide you with courteous, professional, enjoyable and memorable fishing experience. As a result, if you require facilities, have special needs or want to target a specific fish let us know. Remember, you normally catch more fish if you go after what is biting. So, to help make your trip a success, please communicate your wishes and needs prior to the trip.
  • Starting times may differ depending on the time of year. Normally, from March through October charters start between 8:30 AM and 9 AM and during the winter between 7 AM and 8:30 AM. Live bait charters require that we get bait ahead of time so if we’re not at the dock exactly at the designated pick-up time don’t worry we’re still getting bait and will be there shortly.
  • Bring hats, sunglasses (preferably polarized), camera, and whatever you want to eat or drink. We will have an ice chest with ice onboard for you to use. Don’t forget your sunblock but (please do not bring sunblock in the pump or pressurized containers the overspray creates a slip hazard when it gets on the deck), We furnish everything else. You might want to bring a light jacket or windbreaker for the morning ride. “No Hard Alcohol or hard soled shoes.”
